Cooperative Response Center (CRC)
CRC was formed in 1992 by a group of Midwestern electric cooperatives to provide after-hour call handling, dispatching, and alarm monitoring. Over the past 25 years, the organization has evolved into the largest utility call center of its kind, and it continues to operate as a cooperative, owned by the utilities that use its services. Today, CRC operates 24-hours-a-day from facilities in Minnesota, Texas, and Tennessee providing call handling to 350 electric utilities in 41 states.
