SageQuest and Milsoft Announce Multispeak® Version 4 Certification


SageQuest announces that its Mobile Control GPS vehicle management solution has achieved MultiSpeak® certification for interoperability with Milsoft Utility Solutions’ DisSPatch outage management system (OMS) on MultiSpeak® Version 4. By integrating Mobile Control with DisSPatch OMS from Milsoft, both companies have taken information critical to each of their customers and combined it to deepen analysis they deliver independently. Choose Internet Protocol (and the Internet) for your Smart Grid communications


Electric utilities have till now used proprietary, closed telecommunications systems for communications with their AMR devices.  The Smart Grid and Smart Meters will ultimately require open, industry standard Internet Protocol (IP).  If you are contemplating Smart Meter deployment, you should choose a packet switched, IP telecommunications system, not a proprietary, circuit switched one.

Milsoft and Exceleron Software Provide Pre Paid Electric Service Options to Central Electric EMC


Milsoft Utility Solutions, an industry leader in engineering analysis, outage management, interactive voice response, geospatial information systems and field engineering solutions, announced today that it has successfully interfaced its PORCHE Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system with Exceleron Software’s Pre-paid Account Management System (PAMS.) Deployed at Central Electric Membership Corporation in Sanford, North Carolina, customers who elect (or are required) to use pre-paid as a payment method can also now utilize the automated PORCHE IVR system to retrieve account balances and make payments using credit cards or e-checks.
